The Aran Tweed yarn from Laines du Nord, entirely Made in Italy, is a yarn composed of mulesing free wool, fine alpaca and viscose. Carded wool is slightly dry to the touch while remaining surprisingly soft.
The delicately melange colors with the classic contrasting dots as in the best “British” tradition make this wool perfect and indispensable for making sporty Aran sweaters, for both men and women. Absolutely ideal for braid or diamond work or for multi-color work such as the fair isle technique. The color chart proposes all the warm shades of autumn.
