Mouliné Étoile - DMC

Mouliné Étoile by DMC is a soft cotton embroidery thread flecked with lurex glitter. Étoile, from the French meaning star, adds an elegant twinkle to your stitching.

Each skein of Moilinè Étoile contains 8 meters of yarn: 73% long-staple cotton and 27% lurex, the high cotton content makes it easier to stitch with than other metallic threads. Made with highly fade resistant dyes so your needlework can be enjoyed for generations to come.with long fibers and therefore very resistant, mercerized twice to give it a shiny and silky appearance. The dyes used ensure excellent resistance to light and washing.

Mouliné is the cotton embroidery thread made up of 6 easily separable strands: it can be used on one or more strands, depending on the canvas to be embroidered and the effect you want to obtain. It adapts to all embroidery techniques and all materials. Mouliné Coloris is the essential thread for all cross stitch enthusiasts. It is advisable to use thread loops of a maximum length of 40 cm so as not to damage the fiber of the thread itself during the numerous passages inside the embroidery canvases.
