Drops Fiesta

Drops Fiesta is a new 4-ply yarn from Garnstudio Drops to make warm and resistant socks. As with classic sock yarns, it is composed of 75% wool and 25% polyamide.

Drops Fiesta is fun and colourful, warm and soft to the touch and suitable for much more than "simple" socks: try it with sweaters, cardigans and hats! 

Drops Fiesta is superwash treated, so it is machine washable and easy to maintain.

Print colours in DROPS Fiesta have a hand-dyed look, with slight variations in pattern and nuance, which means no two skeins will look exactly the same. These variations are not defects but rather a characteristic of the dyeing technique used in the yarn.

Drops Fiesta is very soft, easy to wash and with truly original colours. The solid colors are basic colors and intense colors, and the speckled, sprayed colors, you can see images of how they look, once worked.  Drops Fiesta has a good twist and therefore does not open during processing: this is why it can also be worked well with crochet.

This yarn has an Oeko-Tex® certification (certificate number 2013OK0060), Standard 100, Class I from the Aitex Technical Textile Institute. This means that is has been tested for harmful substances and is considered safe in human-ecological terms. Class I is the highest level, and it means the yarn is suitable for baby articles (ages 0-3).

*Don't forget that the display of colors can vary from one screen to another and the shades can also vary from one color bath (Dyelot) to another (check on the band of the ball).
