Drops Soft Tweed

DROPS Soft Tweed is a very soft tweed yarn made from a combination of merino wool, superfine alpaca and viscose. The yarn is constructed by carding these fibers together with tiny "tweed buttons" that add pops of color that characterize the look of this quality.

Rustic and elegant, this yarn is easy to knit and allows the creation of many stitches. A great choice also in the color chart for fancy stitch motifs, vests, sweaters and cardigans.

The characteristic of being a carded yarn allows DROPS Soft Tweed to be lighter and more breathable than similar but combed yarns - and therefore particularly suitable for hand knitting.

* Do not forget that the display of colors may vary from one screen to another and even the shades may vary from one color bath (Dyelot) to another (check the band of the ball).

Get a rich, dark brown yarn combination by working together DROPS Kid-Silk 35, chocolate and DROPS Soft Tweed 08, peppercorn.

The knitting tension resulting of this combination is about 16 stitches = 10 cm using 5 mm needles, which is a perfect fit for our Yarn Group C patterns.

Remember however that knitting tension varies from person to person and that the suggested needle size is only a guide. Just make a swatch!
