Patch Art is a decorative technique that makes it easy to personalize and renew any garment by felting carded wool. While it may seem like a complex technique, it is actually really easy and fun; a must try even for those who are not at all familiar with creative sewing. In fact, to felt carded wool, you will only need wool, a special needle and a mold.
The foam is the complementary tool to the needle when felting wool. It should be placed behind the fabric on which you want to apply the Patch Art so as to protect the needle tip and to avoid unintentionally convoluting other parts of the dress.
