SPRING - SUMMER 2021
The real must of Spring-Summer 2021 is the Granny Squares!
With this term which literally means "grandmother's squares", we refer to squares of various sizes, which are made by crocheting, in the round, starting from the center outwards. With these little wonders, we give life to the most varied projects, from top, to bags, to skirts up to the blankets!
Their history and origin go back a long way, but the period in which the Granny square technique is the most successful, creating the real fashion of the moment, is the 70s.
For 2021 many stylists have presented colorful "patchwork crochet" models on their Spring Summer catwalks and we too have dusted off a beautiful model from the Solomaglia publication n. 134 March 2017.
