During the meetings of the knitcafé San Daniele group I had the pleasure of meeting Giuliana, a talented Knitter.

I was struck by her latest work, a precious and light shawl, luminous, impalpable, ..... and above all very soft.

The model is “Cupido” by Carla Positano http://bit.ly/cupido-carlapositano

A triangular construction where increases on the sides and decreases in the center are inserted, forming a spine in relief; tie bands alternate with bands of simple openwork.

The designer proposes it with a degradé yarn while Giuliana has chosen to make it with the Baby Alpaca Silk DROPS yarn for its brightness, being made up of 30% silk and 70% Alpaca.

He used 5 colors, a ball of yarn for each 'section' and the result is amazing..

 



Wrapped around the neck or shoulders like an elegant stole or simply over the jacket, it will always be a glamorous accessory!
