Camomilla Bag

Anna and her Camomilla




 



Anna came by with her "Camomilla" bag, as she calls it.
In fact, in the beginning, it should have been called "Margherita" as per the scheme, but she says that making it she felt so good that it was like drinking a chamomile and ... so it became the Camomile bag!
It is so tasty and easy to make that she decided to share it with us

Material

Drops Muskat cotton available at Lana0nline

4 white MUSKAT balls of 50gr,
2 balls of dark purple Muskat of 50gr,
2 light purple Muskat balls of 50gr,
1 crochet 3.5 / 4,
1mt of cotton cord.

Realization


The bag consists of 63 large (white) daisies

On light purple, start 5 chain stitches, close a circle with a slip stitch.
1st round: 3 chains, 15 double crochet, close with a slip stitch and cut the thread
2nd round: with the white thread, chain 14, slip stitch on the high point, continue for 16 petals, cut the thread.



There are also 48 small daisies (dark purple)

               



With the dark purple start 5 chains, close in a circle with a slip stitch.

1st round: 2 chains, 7 single stitches
2nd round: 4 chains, hook the large daisies in half, 4 chains, fix on the low point. Count for 8 petals.



Packaging

The result is a rectangle made up of 63 large and 48 small daisies.

Long side

With the dark purple thread, collect with a low point in the middle of the white petals of all the daisies of the long side.
Perform a second round of single crochet, alternating between yes and no.
The third and fourth rounds always at a low point.
Last lap in prawn stitch. Cut the thread.
We get the simple horizontal border of the photo.


Repeat on the other side

Short side and handle

Collect with a low point in the middle of the white petals of all the daisies of one short side, then chain 70 (handle) and collect again with a low point in the middle of the white petals of the daisies of the other short side and again another 70 chain stitches. Close by hooking to the first low point.
Make 8 rounds of single stitch in a circle.
Insert a cord inside the edge and close it with a needle with the same cotton thread

Cover the inside with a light cotton lining and insert 3 snaps inside as a closure
