The bouclé yarn Teddy B, from Laines du Nord, is made from alpaca and wool combined for an effect: comfortable like a warm caress, trendy and soft.
Bouclé is the French word for ring and refers to the many small rings of pure alpaca that give the ball its characteristic appearance. Spun from 2 plies, its core is a blend of wool and polyamide, which makes the yarn strong. The combination of alpaca and bouclé makes the yarn very soft, hard-wearing and wonderful in appearance.
