Eco Crochet

Eco Crochet from Laines du Nord is the yarn designed and developed for those who love to crochet. The single chain yarn makes work much smoother and more relaxed because, compared to a twisted yarn, it eliminates the risk of losing a few plys during the execution of the stitches. 

This is a virtuous yarn, which promotes sustainability through the circular economy: 50% Ecotec cotton and 50% recycled polyester, mainly from the separate collection of plastic bottles. Ecotec is the first smart cotton obtained by an exclusive production process, fully traceable and certified, that transforms pre and post consumer cotton textile waste into recycled yarns.

The chain spinning and the composition give the yarn volume while remaining very light and airy: thus dampening the rigid and heavy effect usually obtained when crocheting. Eco crochet is ideal for crocheting but also for knitting spring garments such as sweaters, tops and cardigans as well as accessories.
